I began music by learning Setar, a Persian traditional string instrument back in 90s in Iran, before formally starting classical guitar.

Immigration to Finland has led me to form Ava music ensemble in Helsinki and led many concerts. In my compositions, I try to infuse Persian music with western music on guitar by deploying new techniques and harmony, very carefully and delicately, which results in a surprise and attractive music to both western and Persian music lovers.

I formally studied music and have diploma equivalent and other qualifications in Music Pedagogy (guitar), Advanced special Studies for Soloist, and Music Performance from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Helsinki, Finland), Lahti University of Applied Science (Lahti, Finland) and Koblenz International Guitar Academy, Germany.
