TONALLI means "day, warmth of the sun" in Nahuatl. ☀️Aztecs bodies contained three forces that controlled an individual’s vigor, vitality and passions. The tonalli was a sort of soul that was located in the crown of the head and played a major role in determining a person’s character and fate. Aztecs believed that creator deities placed the tonalli in an individual’s body before birth.
