Hi, my name is Alana.

I’ve been working in the mental health field for over a decade in various capacities. My experience as a crisis worker and first responder has directly impacted many of my opinions and beliefs about the handling of mental health in America, specifically in underfunded, marginalized communities. I believe that change is needed from the top down, but it begins with the boots on the ground.

I never shy away from what matters most and seeking to improve the world around me by amplifying the voices that need to be heard. I’m a proud member of the #NAACP and hope to see more of my friends and neighbors join us!
