🎥🎬: Our channel content (for both channels) involves a mix of homestead vlogging and teaching beginners to help them keep mistakes at a minimum. Even though making mistakes is a part of homesteading and that’s how we learn. We also share recipes and the everyday homestead life. I add some humor and comedy to our videos. I feel that’s important to make people smile. CONTENT INCLUDES SOME OF THE FOLLOWING: MEAT BIRDS FROM START TO FINISH, ORGANIC GARDENING, BUILDING CHICKSHAWS, GREENHOUSE, RECIPES.....ANYTHING HOMESTEADING.

🏡 🇺🇸: We own a 11 acre homestead in Central VA. We moved from the city out to the country and our homesteading journey is going into its 3rd year.

🐔🐓🍳: We run 2 chickshaws on pasture set up on a strict rotation system that houses close to 80 layers.

🐔🐓🍗: We raise and process meat birds (Jumbo Cornish Cross) for both our family and to sell. These meat birds are housed in chicken tractors out on pasture. We move them twice a day. We are working towards a system that involves no off farm input or very little off farm input. We are also thinking about switching to meatshaws so the birds have more room which equals more exercise.

🥬🌽🫑🍉🍓🌶🥕🌻: Organic gardening. We are in the process of building a cat. tunnel (14’x50’ Gothic Pro) from Farmers Friend to use as a greenhouse. We are expanding our garden and working on setting up a roadside veggie stand on our land.

🦆🥚: We have 10 ducks and 1 African guard goose named Gerald who is the best guard goose! We’ve lost zero ducks to predators since adding him. We sell our duck eggs (perfect for baking and offers high protein). We also let some of the females hatch out ducklings which is one of the best homesteading experiences we’ve ever witnessed!

✅: We use ZERO CHEMICALS and ALL of our birds are NON VACCINATED, period.

🐷🐰🐄🍎🍑: GOALS- To raise pigs to process for our family. Raise rabbits to process and sell. Raise A2/A2 milk cow(s) for raw milk and make other dairy products. Plant and grow a fruit orchard.
