We are a community with the mission to empower marginalized groups to get a seat at the table. Our goal is to educate those who are already at the table to be better allies and accomplices. Together, we will embrace learning, listening, and leveraging our collective efforts to build THE NEW TABLE.

Here’s what we ask as you help us build the new T.A.B.L.E.:
1. ❤️ TRUST Each Other - Being part of this community requires mutual trust. We must respect everyone’s privacy in order to engage in authentic and candid discussions, which may also be sensitive and private. What is shared among builders must stay among the builders.
2. 😊 ASSUME Positive Intent. - Understand that your fellow builders are on a learning journey, so missteps and errors may be made. Assume that intentions are good so that we can communicate with compassion and empathy. Bullying of any kind is not allowed, and degrading comments about race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity are not tolerated. If a comment offends you, please let us know so that we can begin to heal. 3. ⚒️ BUILD Solutions. - Members of this group are called “builders” as we aspire to think differently and boldly about inclusion and belonging. If no structure or format exists, we will figure out how to build it.
4. 💪LEAD At Every Level. - Being active and intentional about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is the core of why this group exists. We are dedicated to not being bystanders but activists and accomplices in any way that we can.
5. 🗣 ELEVATE Our Discourse. - We support engaging and provocative dialogue. We believe that you can achieve accountability without demonizing or shaming. Always be respectful and kind. We are all in this together, and we will find a way to support and amplify one another.
