👨🏾‍💻 A Non-Toxic space for black male software engineers. The name is simple and to the point. This is a space where we can forge friendships, bounce off ideas 💡, voice issues ✊🏾, collaborate on projects, etc. I also thing this can be a catalyst for making much needed positive impact on our community and the world at large. We will try to stage events consistently on the first Friday of every month.
Be respectful: People have different beliefs, backgrounds, and lifestyles. No need to deride any one or any group. The goal of this is to build up, not to tear down. You can have discourse tactfully.
Listen before you contribute: If you are granted access to the stage please don’t speak immediately unless asked by the moderator. Take some time to understand the nuance in the conversation before interjecting.
Make your point.: Keep your responses to 2 minutes or less in order to allow everyone time to contribute to the conversation.
