Lessons from a fellow who was overcame Leukaemia (Chronic Myeloid Leukemia) and Myelofibrosis. Specifically, imparting to others with severe medical diagnoses the importance of the 3 Is: be INQUISITIVE, be INFORMED, be IN CONTROL. Also delving into “patient autonomoy.” In short, things I wish I knew before starting treatment. And some levity, too. Also, learn how the Flintstones almost killed me.
