The main difference was the lack of Internet. At least for me. Oh, and I was twenty years younger.
I read books instead of Kindles.
I went to coffee shops and talked to people (or didn’t) instead of typing thins online.
I had a dozen or two dozen phone numbers memorized and a list of other important numbers.
When I was out, I was out. I didn’t listen to headphones, I observed people and nature and felt inspired.
Politics hadn’t inserted themselves into every aspect of life.
