Culture erodes when it’s ignored. If colleagues don’t relate to your words, expressions, or gestures—those unique aspects of your personality become ineffective and obsolete. You phase them out in exchange for more “successful” ways of interacting. It’s an unconscious assimilation that, over time, homogenizes corporate cultures.

Companies end up with workforces that look different but act the same. It’s diversity without inclusion.

Share the Wealth.: Pause. It’s good to practice three breaths (or more). Share the stage. At times we’ll encourage a reset to bring people along. After conversations, invite a friend to the group.
