Hi all — Happy Wednesday! Today is a big day for Clubhouse...
👋 We’re thrilled to share that Clubhouse is now open to everyone! This means we have removed our waitlist system so that anyone can join and you can invite as many people as you want! If you have a club, you can post your link far and wide. If you are a creator with an audience, you can bring them all on. If you’re hosting a public event, anyone can attend. You can bring close friends, classmates, family members, coworkers, and anyone else you like — on iOS or Android. Read more on our blog.
📸 We have a new app icon! After a wonderful run with Dandara, we are thrilled to announce that the one and only Justin “Meezy” Williams will be representing the Clubhouse community as our new app icon. As many of you know, Meezy is an entrepreneur, the manager of 21 Savage, and one of the most prominent operators in the Atlanta music scene. His Clubhouse club, The Meez-O Estates, describes itself lovingly as a place to "talk about fun, music, business, & all ratchet activity possible." The club is often a first stop for new faces on Clubhouse and a staple for musicians and Atlanta cool kids. Since joining the app in September of 2020, Meezy has been prolific — hosting a weekly R&B show, conversations about fatherhood, NBA celebration cookouts, and rooms debating the latest in music streaming tech. 💻 We have a logo now! 😅 And a new website! After 16 months, we figured it was time. Check out the new Clubhouse.com that Molly and Aaron designed last week, along with our new blog.

🇺🇸 🇮🇳 🇯🇵 Support your country in the Olympics! We're Olympics-crazy here at Clubhouse and wanted to help the Clubhouse community show their country pride! Just add your country's flag emoji anywhere in your bio and during the Olympics it will show up as a badge on your profile photo whenever you're in a room. If you have multiple flags, we'll show the one that appears first.
💌 Share great rooms more easily. Now when you're in a great room that you want to share with your friends — or with your followers on social media — just tap the "+" button at the bottom of the room and you'll see three easy options to share: send through the share sheet, post on Twitter, or copy the link.
