#TravelIST — The Club for Irreverent Travellers

Bring your wit and your wits, bring your (un)popular opinions, and especially bring those offbeat travel adventures. This is the club where travel bucket lists kick the bucket ;) and we go off the beaten path.

TravelIST, where IST stands for Indian Standard Time, was a familiar Twitter hashtag from 2014 to 2017 hosted across 90 minutes of fast-paced, hilarious, insightful, entertaining and thoroughly immersive travel storytelling.

We’re back now on Clubhouse to give the weekly chat a go. All club sessions are strictly about wondering and wandering, and conducted in English with decency, respect, and a hat-doff to inclusion and diversity. And, yes, we convene every Thursday at 8:30 pm IST

Respect Differences: We’re a respectful community of travellers. We celebrate differences. Ergo, we stay clear of any offensive remarks on the lines of politics, race, ethnicity, faith, gender, sexual orientation, etc.
Topicality & Stage Time: We love to talk. And we tolerate a healthy level of rambling (hey, we’re travellers!). That said, inconsiderate unmuting, mic-hogging, interruption, and talking over others don’t sit well with us.
Language: We’re adults here. And we don’t mind a bit of gentle cussing. However, in public interest, persistent use of profanity and offensive potty-mouthing can get you muted or unceremoniously ushered out.
