Did you go to Woodstock? Were you raised in that infamous town where it Didn’t happen? Did you go there only to find that Bethel (where it did) is fifty some miles away? Have you been priced out, vibed out, policied out of your homelands, are you fearing such? This club is for folks who can relate.

Let’s take an intergenerational journey to find the TRUE “Woodstock”, looking at The Town, The People, The Music, The Festival and the Myth of The Garden.. It’s been a wild 51+ Years, and a forest has grown from the inspiration of Grassroots. let’s recognize that the “Woodstock Generation” might not exclusively be people directly involved with the Woodstock Festival itself, but those who embody the mythical culture that has kept people coming to the “wrong” town for the last fifty years.

And in the end, Is it really about Woodstock?
It is a widely accepted notion that every generation comes in, picking up where those who came before us left off, but as the children of the Sixties send our kids off to college, we find ourselves standing on the front lines beside three, sometimes four generations--being carried forward by today’s courageous youth. They are calling for us to consider more than sustaining this current way of living ON the Earth, but to take regenerative steps toward living With the Earth. That begins with honoring our connection to the land, eachOther and passing the torch.

Born three days after the infamous festival, raised a lifelong “Child Of Woodstock”, Rachel Marco-Havens invites you to the Club and into “the Garden” to explore. You will likely meet, share with or BE, some of those who helped plant it, danced in it, trampled on it, tended it, became the compost and, of course, the bounty of harvest that comes from such rich soil.
