The Minorities in Media room is for journalists, on-air talent, hosts, publicists, graphic designers, and photographers who fall under the radio, television, and PR umbrella.

This room is designed to be a safe space to have open and relatable conversations pertaining to the industry. It's the perfect place to wind down on Wednesdays while networking and building relationships.
Respect the opinions of others : This a safe space to have open and engaging conversations pertaining to the industry. Please respect the other listeners when they're speaking. Everyone will have a chance to speak when it's time.
Have your 30 second elevator pitch READY: At the beginning of each room we dedicate about 15-20mins before we start the topic. This is your time to pitch yourself or project. To give as many people a chance to speak be ready to GO!!!
Networking is KEY!!!: There's a lot of "vets" in the industry. Come ready to listen and take notes. Feel free to drop GEMS when it's necessary. Connect with the other members and start building relationships.
