Indigenous Townhall on Clubhouse

Description

Indigenous Townhall is for all Indigenous people and was conceptualised by Blackfullas in so called ‘Australia’.

This group aims to allow all Indigenous people to talk about specific narratives in their communities and debunk information live. This space is also an educational space for Indigenous people to share their knowledge and stories. It is always encouraged to tip Indigenous speakers, especially if you live in a colony.

Introduce Yourself : When on stage, introduce yourself by saying your name, pronouns, where you’re from and if you live in a colony, who’s land you’re on
Indigenous People Go First: Indigenous people always speak first. Especially elders. Settlers and Colonisers have to wait their turn
Be Respectful: If you’re anti-Black, anti-Indigenous, homophobic, transphobic, queerphobic, ableist, xenophobic etc you’ll be kicked out.
