Amicus Curiae (AC) or better known as ‘A Friend of The Court’ was founded in 2021 to bridge the gap between law students, postgraduates, pupils and young lawyers through applied learning to equip them with the necessary practical and functional skillsets required to excel in their legal careers.
AC collaborates with a multitude of institutions and prestigious professionals in their respective fields to champion projects aimed at applied learning, inter alia, webinars, article writing, moots, legal aid, charities and food drives.
At present, there are three operating arms under AC, namely the Civil Practice Sub-Committee, the Human Rights Sub-Committee and the Legal Aid Sub-Committee. For membership enquiries, feel free to contact the respective co-chairpersons.
