Tadao Ando wrote in the preface to Architect, "Why do I think this book should be published in Taiwan? Because it is my hope that after reading this book over, at least one person would determine to hold on to the end...." His compassion was truly impressive. As he writes, "the success of fair-faced concrete lies in the solid relationship between the architect and the construction workers."

The abovementioned passages resonated with me deeply when I started Mr. Ho's Books, Veggies, and Good Food Lounge, where I hope we would feel more connected as we share with other the joy and blessings life brings us. And I hope this is an ideal you deem worth cherishing.

On a crisp cool spring night like this, I tried to write down a few reflections under the light of the lamp. Slowly I found my previously ruffled spirit return to equilibrium. Passion seems to have been rekindled, too. I finally realize how many blessings I have received from my life.
