The #BankBlack Movement
In 2016, we devoted ourselves to finding our advocation within the #BankBlack movement, and quickly arrived at the realization that discussing literacy within our community entailed a more aggregate discourse than just relocating money or assets. The conversation soon veered towards everything from redefining and then acquiring wealth, income and pay disparity, the stock market and investments, entrepreneurship and financial agility, to – the financial fitness of the institutions in our communities, and their commitment to the communities they serve.
