We discuss the reality of Life After Cancer. We touch on what we can control and what we cannot. Then.... We. Take. Action. We take back our power (and our pen), step out from the shadow of cancer and debris of treatment, and begin rewriting our story, one chapter at a time. Not just a space for survivors—we need the voices of family, friends, and Life After Cancer Ambassadors, Partners, and Sponsors. There’s a GAP in healthcare following treatment —> survivors need help rebuilding their health after cancer. Awareness is needed. If the survivor continues to experience distress and a low quality of life, there could be an unfortunate generational impact and according to studies the potential for stress-induced recurrence.
