LGBT+ Mafiosi on Clubhouse

Description

This is a room to organize Mafia games within the LGBTQ+ community and allies! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

The Game:

We are all members of a village… but unfortunately, the Mafia has infiltrated it! Every round the Villagers must vote out who they suspect is a member of the Mafia, so try to avoid suspicion!

The Roles:

God 🌩
The Main Moderator of the game. God will chose the Mafias, the Angel(s) and the Nurse(s). God will NOT create a separate character, and should remain impartial. They will designate the time to deliberate (usually 3 min), the voting order per round (PTR order, Reverse PTR order, etc.), and will move the villager who gets the most votes to the audience.

The Mafias 🔪
The villains of the story. Their goal is to avoid suspicion and to kill as many villagers as possible to take over the village. They can conspire to kill their obstacle through the backchannel, but CANNOT message others.

The Angel(s) 👼
The only ones who know the identity of the Mafias. The Angels will try to convince the villagers to vote for the Mafias out, while keeping their identity hidden from the Mafias. Angels CAN be killed at any point. Angels are NOT allowed to announce they are the Angel, as doing so would end the game.

The Nurse 💉
They have the ability to save a Villager from elimination. Nurses tell God who they chose to save via the backchannel before every vote. Nurses CAN save themselves as well. As an optional rule, sometimes Nurses can’t save the same person twice in a row.

The Villagers 🧑‍🌾
All the players are villagers, and can decide their characters! You can be whoever you want, but remember, DONT BE SUSPICIOUS!

Variations:

Themed Villages 🏘
In order to spice things up, you can do themed villages (for example, a hospital, a mental institution, a family, etc.)

Blind Angel 🙈
Sometimes God will chose an Angel, but will NOT reveal who the Mafias are on the first turn. That is done in order to preserve the mystery for a turn, so the Angel is not so obvious.

Multiple Mafias, Angels and Nurses 👨‍👨‍👧‍👧
In larger groups, God will be able to chose several Angels or Nurses, as well as increase the number of Mafias.
Be respectful of everyone: -Absolutely no harassment, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any kind of hate speech of any kind. Offenders will be removed from the game and reported.
Follow the Mafia Rules: -ONLY the Mafias can conspire on the backchannel. Angels, Nurses and Villagers CAN’T use the backchannel during a game to conspire against the Mafias. Offenders will be moved to the audience.
