ECOBWID - Economic Community of BW in the Diaspora

BW in Economics ||Supporting BW to support their communities || Organisation culture || Intentional building || Global Trading


Diaspora BW includes Black Women from the following regions; Africa, North America, Caribbean/West Indies, South America and Europe.

This is a project-based club in which we embark on a project collectively to achieved the following objectives:
- To engage in integrated economic and commercial activities.
- To implement a roadmap for strategic programmes.
- To monitor and evaluate project performance.
- To promote BW diaspora cohesion and eliminate barriers to diversity and inclusion between black women
- To promote cultural exchange.
- To promote inter- dependancy of member DBW communities.
- To strengthen the relationship between DBW communities.

An example of an idealistic project is to have cocoa beans grown by women farmers in Ghana, have the cocoa beans transported by an Afro-Latina owned shipping company to Louisiana where the cocoa beans are refined by a Black American Woman owned company.
