Were you ever called bossy? 🤨

Since I was a little girl I was always shamed for my bossy-ness... And maybe you were too, or maybe you saw bossy as a big no-no, so you stifled your voice because you didn’t want to come across that way.

We’ve heard things like “nobody likes a bossy girl," and since we don’t want to be “bad” or face rejection, a lot of us learn to not raise your hand or speak up. And I don’t know about you, but I’ve never heard of a male counterpart being called bossy… Maybe leadership material, but not bossy.

Being shamed or ridiculed for using your voice is never the answer. And yet so many of us think that being bossy is a bad thing. These incredible qualities are NOT something that should be quieted in young girls, adolescent girls, or grown women.

I want to invite you to join me in making the shift to embrace ALL of who we are... because all of us have our own innate gifts that we were born with. Some of us are blessed with something to say, and that inner quality to be able to speak up and say something where other people may be afraid to.
