Founded in 2015 Chasing Happiness is a safe and welcoming community of people offering support to each other as we build lives that being us joy and meaning. 🥰
After years of struggling with my own mental health issues, I decided to get a degree in psychology and do what I could to help others. Chasing Happiness has become a way for me to reach out to those who need a supportive community like this in order to create lives that allow them to heal and move forward.
I strive to occasionally have uncomfortable conversation and think deeply. I believe this is how we all grow.
🌈Be the rainbow in a cloudy day🌈
Discussions in this club will revolve around personal growth, spiritual growth, what happiness means, how to reduce stress, mental health, life struggles and living your best life.
❤️💜🧡🤍🖤💛💚💙🤎The goal of this club is to offer a safe space for people to be heard & be able to explore their thoughts & feelings about life. Life can be messy sometimes so some conversation may get messy as well. Please be kind & respectful in all our conversations. It takes courage for people to share their stories & feelings so support those who do. 🤎💙💚💛🖤🤍🧡💜💗❤️
Our club and conversations are not a substitute for professional mental health supports. If you are in need of mental health resources please visit CMHA.ca in Canada 🇨🇦 or www.nimh.nih.gov in the USA🇺🇸
Be respectful : This is a safe space to talk about some very big things we face in life. Be respectful of those who share and what they choose to share in our rooms. Be kind and show love to everyone here 💕
Don’t judge : It is not your place to judge what people choose to share or their lived experiences. Our job in these rooms is to give space for people to be heard and feel supported.
Be kind: Some topics we cover may deal with trauma, trauma responses and healing after trauma. This can be hard for people who have lived through trauma. Be kind and courteous to everyone in these rooms.
