Description
Being Persian has more to do with culture than race. But ofcourse persians are west /central asians. Like other powerfull ethnic groups like Arabs & Han chinese, Persians today comprises of ancient Persians,convert Persians and mixed Persians. All of them are equally persian.
Because persians were and are always a powerfull ethnic Group, they expanded and they persianized other ethnic Groups. Persian has more to do with culture than race, although features also play important role. It is very difficult if not impossible to distinguish between a Persian and a Kurd or a Persian and a Pashtun. Becuase they have the same features.
What distinguish a Persian from a Kurd or Pashtun is his/her language, name and love for the Persian historical figures, particular Persian traditions, special Connection to historical Persian lands and cities.
All in all if you are born in persian culture and practice it then you are a persian. The Persian Blood Runs In Your Veins.
