Hello and welcome to Black Voices in Study Abroad! . I am a University Relations Manager for a reputable study abroad non-profit and I intend to increase student mobility for Black students. I’d like to get to know about your experiences abroad while also encourage others to expand their horizons by studying abroad. It’s a global market and I need YOU to be aware of all of the incredible opportunities that await you! Let’s learn, encourage and support one another in this room no matter at what stage you are in the process of realizing your dream to study or intern abroad.
Be Respectful: We thrive on respectfully communicating with one another. Please do not talk over anyone while they are speaking.
No self promotion: I do not mind you sharing the name of your organization, but it MUST be linked to study abroad, scholarship funds, or other resources whose aim is solely for the purpose of study abroad.
No fear mongering: We will not bash or otherwise speak negatively of any country in this room. There are countries that may not be safe for study at the moment, but we will share this information in productively.
