✨ why did i create this space? ✨

Skincare is complex, but it shouldn’t be. Consumers are spoiled for choice and there is an overwhelming supply of information to help us make educated decisions. The problem? It’s hard to tell fiction from fact, and while we have more information than ever before, it’s even harder to break through the noise and make the right decision. My goal with this space is to make the complex simple, so you can make choices you feel confident about.

✨ just a regular girl, on her skincare journey ✨

I created this space for you, but also me. I love inspiring people to be their best selves, and I know first-hand how bad skin can make you feel like such an ugly duckling and kill your confidence. I hope this club is a safe space for you to be yourself without judgment.

Growing up, I was blessed to be the only person in my family with ‘bad’ skin. After what seems like a lifetime of struggling, I finally seem to have found what works for me.

💫 what makes me a “skincare expert”? 💫

Other than my 10-year battle with hereditary acne (currently at a cease-fire), and my passion (obsession) with all things skin-related, absolutely nothing. I am not a dermatologist or an aesthetician. I am not a molecular biologist or a chemist. Does that make me unqualified to talk about skincare? Maybe. Maybe not.

⭐️ so, who am I? ⭐️

I am an active consumer who believes that people should be given all the information so they can make educated decisions about which products to use. Brands often make things increasingly complex and that makes it easy to fall for ‘hype’ and buy ineffective products. I know I’ve done this more times than I can count (learn from my mistakes!).

To always be honest, to research products I’m reviewing/recommending, and to supply you with knowledge so you can feel confident about your purchases and your skin. I love skincare and believe it’s a journey, and we have a lot to learn from each other!
