Description
The National Institute of Education (NIE) is the professional institute of the Ministry of Education, responsible for spreading education and improving quality of learning and teaching in the Maldives.
NIE is mandated to:
- promote holistic education through a modern curriculum
- improve the quality of education through research and innovation
- provide training and continuous professional development support for schools
- enhance adult learning and community education
