I've journaled for several years now- and it has helped me tremendously in building an intimate relationship with God, increased my prayer language, as well as targeting my prayers in keeping with the Word of God. 

Keeping a prayer journal allowed me to journal my (WALK) journey with God - - It has also helped me become MORE attentive in hearing the voice of God - It's that joyous seeking appointed time to sit before Him for clarity and direction.
