Save Punjabi Language on Clubhouse

There are 113 million native punjabi speakers around the world according to google but still facing discrimination. Punjabi/ਪੰਜਾਬੀ/پنجابی have two major scripts for writing. One is Shahmukhi (Persian alphabets) and second one is Gurmukhi (devnagri alphabets). Shahmukhi is older than Gurmukhi according to historians and linguists tells us that punjabi language is directly connected to the Harappan civilisation (the most ancient known civilisation on planet earth). Despite so many punjabi speaking people the language is in danger specially in western Punjab i.e. Pakistani Punjab. The language is prohibited in Pakistani schools and education system where as the constitution of the Pakistan allows the provinces to use their native languages in their specific territory. In federation of Pakistan this particular language is dying rapidly, younger generations are getting far away from their own mother language and that is a clear violation of basic human rights. According to UNESCO and UN a kid learn better in his/her own mother language better than any other language of the world. Let’s join hands to save the language in Pakistan and to provide it the constitutional rights. The club is open for rooms if you can contribute to spread the awareness regarding punjabi language.
Room’s language : Punjabi and English will be the languages for the club’s rooms.
No religious debate : Punjabis have so many religious beliefs. For example Sikhism, Islam, Hindus, Christianity and so on. So try not to discuss religion and respect all the religions.
