A growing community dedicated to readings and discussions of sutras or suttas(recorded words) of Gautam Buddha (Buddha Shakyamuni) commonly known as the Buddha, an enlightened being whose activities inspired the religion and philosophy of Buddhism. Sutras are a gateway to the mind and philosophy of Buddha. Each Sutra is an exposition of a concept, an exercise, an idea that is worth following. Sutras are often long by our modern standards and rich in knowledge ideal for an analytical mind. This group serves as a platform to host readings of sutras and encouraging their discussion.
