Our Native plants need us to remember our relationship to them. They need us to tend to their well-being just as they take care of us. Just as we have for thousands of years, as Indigenous people. Just as we continue to do so with help from our allies. Yet, over-harvesting, development projects, diverting of water, extractivism, commercialization, cultural appropriation and settler colonial attitudes are stacking up and taking a toll on our Plant Relatives. Many important plants are already at-risk or endangered. Join us to celebrate the beauty and wonder of the plants who sustain us, teach us and also to discuss strategies and steps we can take to protect them. Who should join? Culture Keepers, Indigenous Wisdom Keepers, Environmental Activists, Ethnobotanists, Botanists, Medicine Carriers, Farmers, Gardeners, Herbalists, Aromatherapists and anyone who loves our Native plants species!
