This group is dedicated to discussing the ethical boundaries of the marketing profession highlighting attitudes such as solidarity, justice and empathy, and the ethical foundations of actions, from the courage of contrasting bad professional practices to the exercise of the power of persuasion and patient process of making the world a better place through Marketing.
In a liquid and complex society of multifaceted roles, ignorance, alternative reality, global-scale, AI-mediated processes, require an invigorating ethical framework as our post-modern world is shaped by a multitude of forces ranging from what we consider human, to the non-human. Artificially Intelligent beings, robots and augmented humans are deemed to soon surpass the simple notion of what we understand as human judgment. This complex and liquid reality requires a deep philosophical discussion and a renewed sense of ethics in business and marketing to keep up with the pace of these dramatic changes.
