******Meet our Founder******

The Fashion Psychology Field® was founded by Dr. Dawnn Karen. She is a Columbia University educated pioneer and the first black female psychology professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology. As the Founder of the Fashion Psychology Institute® she has taught and trained fashion psychology enthusiasts all around the world. As an international author signed to Hachette Book Group US & Penguin Random House UK, her book Dress Your Best Life explores and explains her fashion psychology field theories. It is available worldwide in several languages- English, Russian, Spanish and Czech. She is regularly featured in media outlets and publications in more than 40 countries. She has been dubbed “The Dress Doctor” by The New York Times, “The World’s First Fashion Psychologist” by The Times (London) and “The Wardrobe Whisper” by The Guardian (UK).
