"Hello and welcome to Kotatsu Club, here we speak both English and Japanese freely and all are welcome! Please don't hestitate to raise your hand and join us on stage, we're quite friendly, or feel free to listen as well.

We have no particular subject we speak about, anything and everything goes! We talk about all kinds of stuff, silly, sad, serious, and happy things, and can answer any questions you have. Thanks for listening!"

In order to maintain a positive evniornment we ask that each and everyone to have the willingness to share and talk, but when not speaking to carefully and respectuflly listen. Therefore we have a few rules to ensure this, they are as follows...

Don't interrupt people who are talking.
Do not keep the microhpone for yourself, give everyone the chance to speak, and when you are listening mute your mic.
Try to be cautious with your words and be sure to apologize if you may have offended someone.
Be accepting.
But above all, pleas enoy the conversation.

Our goal is to be a club where people from all over the world can talk openly and seriously about their questions or concerns, and sometimes we laugh together about them.

If you have a topic you'd like to discuss, please let us know and we'll schedule it accordingly.

If you continue to repeat the same behavior even after we ask you to change your behavior, you will be pushed from a speaker to an audience member.

Basic Speaker's Manual

•Flashing your microphone means applause.
　
　This is a great way to let the speaker know that you agree with what he or she is saying.
　
　This is a great way to let the speaker know how you feel.

• Please mute your microphone when someone is speaking. (I'm sure you can understand )

• If you have a problem, please contact the moderator.
　- The moderator will help you if there is a conflict.

If there are several participants, the moderator will help.
We try to make it easy for everyone to speak up. Please feel free to join us.

•Both listeners and speakers are welcome.

•You can come and go as you please, so feel free to leave.
And you are welcome to come back.

The number of speakers may be limited during the event.
In that case, please understand that we will ask listeners to return after the talk.

"こたつクラブへようこそ！ここでは英語と日本語が自由に話せる方、誰でも大歓迎です。気軽に手を挙げてステージに参加してください。

話す内容は特に決まっていません。くだらない話も、悲しい話も、真面目な話も、嬉しい話も、何でも質問に答えます。"

肯定的な環境を維持するために、私たちは、一人一人が共有し、話す意欲を持っていることをお願いしますが、話していないときには慎重に、尊敬して聞くことをお願いします。そのためにいくつかのルールを設けています。

話している人の邪魔をしないでください。
マイクロホンは自分だけのものにせず、全員に話す機会を与え、聞いているときはマイクをミュートにする。
自分の言葉には慎重になり、誰かを怒らせたかもしれない場合は必ず謝るようにしましょう。
受け入れるようにしましょう。
しかし、何よりも会話を楽しんでください。

私たちの目標は、世界中から集まった人たちが、疑問や悩みをオープンに真剣に話し、時には一緒に笑ったりすることができるクラブであることです。

もしあなたが話したいトピックがあれば、私たちにお知らせください。

場の空気を乱す行動を改めるようにお願いしても、同じ行動を繰り返してしまう方は、スピーカーからオーディエンスメンバーになってもらいます。ご了承下さい。

スピーカーの基本マニュアル

•マイクをフリックすることは、拍手を意味します。
　
　これは、話し手に、あなたが彼または彼女の言っていることに同意していることを知らせるのに最適な方法です。
　
　これは、自分の気持ちを話し手に伝えるのに最適な方法です。

•誰かが話しているときはマイクをミュートにしてください。

•問題がある場合は、モデレーターに連絡してください。
衝突があった場合は、モデレーターが助けてくれます。

参加者が複数いる場合は、モデレーターがバランスを調整する事が有ります。
誰もが発言しやすいように心がけていますので、お気軽にご参加ください。

聞き手も話し手も大歓迎です。

好きなように出入りしていただいて構いませんので、ご自由に退室して構いません。
そして、また来ていただいても大歓迎です。

•イベント期間中、登壇者の人数に限りがある場合があります。
その場合、リスナーの方がスピーカーになった場合トーク終了後にリスナーに戻って頂く事も有りますのでご了承ください。
