The term "Red Judaism" comes from the Hebrew phrase "תורת אדום" meaning "Red Torah". Though referred to by Jacob Emden as religion for Hebrew Goyim, also known as a kiruv project, it is not exactly a different religion from Judaism but rather an approach stemming from within Orthodox Judaism which reaches out to the lost sheep of God's people assimilated into the secular world by making the nations into Hassidim-Hassidei Umot HaOlam. Red Judaism has some very different interpretations on the Mishnah from Orthodox Judaism. For a basic introduction to Red Judaism please read Rabbi Harvey Falk's "Jesus the Pharisee" and the works of Itzhak Shapira, Ariel Cohen Alloro.
