Welcome to the Black Girls Education (BGE) club! 👩🏾‍🎓🖤✨

This group will discuss the varied academic and social experiences of Black girls in school. CH members are encouraged to join and share their experiences in school- as a student or educator. By engaging in these ongoing conversations, we’ll learn how to replicate practices that have created positive memories, fostered strong identity development, and elevated the social consciousness for Black girls! It is also our hope that together we will be able to determine a theme amongst the stories, and coupled with the research shared, begin to identify ways to deconstruct the systems that have negatively influenced the academic and social experience for Black girls in school. 👩🏾‍🏫📓✏️🍎🌻
