There isn’t a space for DEI practitioners to simply relax and vibe. I’ve noticed that DEI practitioners constantly talk about emotionally taxing topics like systemic racism and oppression. It’s like we’re always working.
So, I’m striving to create a safe space and build a community for consultants, strategists, leaders, and practitioners in the DEI field to hang out, network & engage in healthy convo that isn’t only about the traumatic & exhausting work we do. HR practitioners who find themselves at the intersection of DEI & HR are also welcomed to join.
I want us to have space to simply exist and talk about navigating life in a healthy way. Talk about finding a healthy work-life balance, building genuine relationships, and finding mentors in the DEI field.
Allies are also welcome, but this is not a space to come and “learn” from DEI practitioners for free. In this space, allies should offer resources or help to provide access to resources if possible.
