Stephen Hennessy is an established performer with the Hip-Hop trio Butta Babees, a radio show host and DJ on C.K.U.T. 90.3FM at McGill University, an events organizer, and C.E.O. of Hype-Man Networks. He has also been working with youth as a profession for more than 20 years at several community organizations in Montreal in addition to his career as a child/family Pycho-Educator at the Jewish General Hospital’s Children Psychiatric Department. Stephen’s community involvement began at the Youth In Motion centre in Little Burgundy. The organization received a Canadian Council for the Arts grant to create a compilation CD, which featured the talents of its young members 2001. By way of Westhaven, Stephen has remained active in his local community by launching an Urban Arts program. Much of his work has combined his two passions; art and youth work.
