Zé Luis Short Bio
A 5 time Grammy award nominee, composer, arranger, producer and multi-instrumentalist with a career of over 40 years in Brazil and United States. Became known in the 1980s performing and recording with Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Gal Cost and Cazuza among others.
As a a film composer, arranger and music producer I am recognized for my work on the films like Rio (2011), Ghost of Girlfriends Past (2009) and Monster-in-Law (2005).
As recording artist I have released the self-title Zé Luis EP and two albums of his original compositions, Guarani Banana and Caiapó.
I am also the founder of The Atelier Music Studio where I have been composing, producing and recording music for film/tv soundtracks, albums and converging media.
