'Elevation Strategist’ Zakiya Larry, elevates brands and self-awareness through brand strategy, media coaching, speaking and PR training courses, crisis mitigation and strategic public relations.
 
Zakiya’s media features as an expert include: O, The Oprah Magazine (.com,) FOX News Radio Network, Black Enterprise.com, The Washington Post, ESSENCE, Ebony, and many others.
 
As a speaker, Zakiya has moved audiences from in The East Room at The White House to Johannesburg, South Africa. She has also been a featured speaker at major international events like SXSW and T.D. Jakes’ MegaFest.
 
A trained journalist, Zakiya is Founder and Chief Strategist of Quest Media Training, a strategic communications firm that provides interview preparedness, strategic messaging, crisis communications and public relations. 

She and her team teach entrepreneurs as well as executives and their teams how to find ‘Your Core,’ how to Master The Media, and how to elevate a brand above a crisis. Zakiya also personally leads campaigns to create relevant messaging and committed action in response to social unrest and racial division.
 
She has managed publicity for many blockbuster hits and New York Times bestsellers. Zakiya has also coordinated production for Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Oz and other notables. Her work has garnered no less than a dozen national and international awards.
