Ryan Rabih Zeidan, better known as “Zaydan”, is a first generation Lebanese American, born and raised in Houston, TX. Zaydan has always been connected to films and music from a young age. His parents would always play Arabic music in the household, along with pop music groups like ABBA, and Motown Groups: The Supremes, The Temptations, Jackson 5, and Stevie Wonder. These musical influences led him to join the choir in elementary and he continued to make the cut all the way through high school.
Being born during the new wave of modern technology gave him the opportunity to mix his love for visuals and music. Which led him to applying to Columbia College Hollywood where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in cinema. While studying, he continued honing his vocal skills by taking lessons, recording demos, and developing his sound.
Zaydan’s style of music has always had a Pop, R&B, worldwide feel, but has evolved into an R&B, Trap, Hip-Hop vibe. Zaydan is not just one genre. Although his music is based in R&B, because of his background and influences, you never know what will come out of him musically. He is a baratone second tenor, which is rare and unique in popular music, so for Zaydan it is more about the storytelling than about the acrobats.
Zaydan is most inspired by performers like Teyana Taylor, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, Prince, Michael and Janet Jackson. He aims for his music to provide healing and take his fans on an emotional journey.
