Born in Taiwan, Yang made his name on Yo-Yo by holding two titles of Yo-Yo for Guinness World Record in 2014 and winning the Long Sleeper Champion of World Yo-Yo Contest in 2015. In addition, he was invited to present Yo-Yo play at several expos, festivals and TV shows. Moreover, he was the first one who had a chance to play Yo-Yo on international occasions. “The most artistic Yo-Yo play I have ever seen,” as was his performance praised.

In the beginning, he was inspired to be a professional Yo-Yo player at 14 years old by the amazing and attractive videos of Japan Yo-Yo contest. This dream was obviously divergent from others’ expectation, especially his parents. Yang began to think how to promote this technical skill and persuade his parents. By making great efforts with enthusiasm in Yo-Yo, he achieved some milestones in the following years. These achievements reversed his parents’ impression on YO-YO. At present, they are the important fans and powerful backing for Yang.

“To be the one that cannot be replaced rather than the best one,” is Yang’s motto. He would encourage others who have different dreams to make it come true with passion and persistence. Just like himself does.
