Deep pain in dark times
All I dealt with was tragedies through my timeline
Noises of bombings, shootings, and loud cries
Lost both parents and only thing I gave was a prayer and tears that I cried
Blessings from the Most High cause we survived
Blessings from the Most High cause we revived
Blessings from the Most High cause we strived
Blessings from the Most High cause we realized
The reality is unreal to comprehend what’s unreal
And what’s unreal is not understanding what’s real
What’s real is the double standards they show to justify the hate they feel
The love we show could get us killed
But they smile and say this is “freedom”
And I ask them what is freedom?
Freedom to oppress the ones that you accuse of being oppressed by their oppressors
But yet you are the ones that’s pointing fingers
True colors show when disagreements come between us
And you won’t let it go till you do everything to beat us
And 5 rings will get a man gold like it’s the Olympics
No apologies for the fake promises and false lines
They said it was politics but I took it personal like
They were enemies that envy me that had it in for me
