MARCUS SCOTT (he/him/his) is a playwright, musical theatre writer and journalist. Selected works: Tumbleweed, Sibling Rivalries, Cherry Bomb, and Sundown Town. Scott’s work has been developed or workshopped in concert at Joe's Pub, 54 Below, Abingdon Theatre Company, Astoria Performing Arts Center, Classical Theatre of Harlem, Dixon Place, Space on Ryder Farm, Cherry Lane Theater (Downtown Urban Arts Festival), CoLAB Arts, Symphony Space, MicroTheater Miami, among others. His articles appeared in Time Out New York, The Brooklyn Rail, Encore Monthly, American Theatre, Playbill, Elle, Out, Essence, among others. MFA: NYU Tisch.
