Struggling with networking?
Here are a few tips that will help you right away.
1. Networking is part of your marketing activities, not your sales activities.
2. Strategic networking is about making connections and finding out if they can make further connections.
3. Find or establish a unique "Wow, tell me more!" description of what you do and/or who you serve.
4. Learn how to help others and you'll feel positive instead of pushy.
Why is this important?
When someone recommends you or your business, you are more likely to get the sale, less likely to have to negotiate the price, and will probably retain the client longer. This means a higher conversion rate and a higher customer lifetime value and translates to higher profitability.
