I’m a mother of two and am now an empty-nester. It has changed my perspective on being ‘needed’. But not in a dreaded way; I’ve instead turned that around and am giving more of myself to others which makes me realize that as humans we are always ‘needed’.

Smile because someone out there ‘needs’ that security.
Laugh because the world needs to feel the ripple of that happiness ... Selah
