I like to introduce to you the campaign “Homeland Earth”, that the Austrian Stuy Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution (ASPR) has just started a few weeks ago.
The campaign “Homeland Earth” aims to contribute to strengthening a “planetary awareness”, which in our understanding is a precondition for responding adequately to the global poly-crisis and its challenges that we are facing.
We came up with a short Appeal and a longer Manifesto in different languages. This can be found on the website www.homelandearth.com
where the appeal can be signed directly there and that the manifesto can be commented on.
The concept of “Terre Patrie / Homeland Earth / Heimatland Erde” was developed by the French philosopher Edgar Morin, who will turn 100 years old on 8th July 2021, so we also want to celebrate his anniversary with this campaign.
On the website, you will find a short video of him, where he explains the concept of “Homeland Earth”.
