I’ve been in the music business for 35 years.
I was born and raised in Memphis and have been living in Nashville 25 years.
I got my 1st record deal in 1993 on EMI RECORDS signed by Charles Koppleman .
STEP BY STEP was my 1st single produced by The Characters in NYC. My ballad COME IN OUT OF THE RAIN followed during the Whitney, Mariah, Celine era.
I recorded a few movie soundtracks including THE PAGEMASTER starring Macaulay Culkin.
I’ve recorded duets with some of our greatest male iconic vocalist, such as Michael Mcdonald, Julio Iglesias, Kirk Whalum, Vince Gill, John Oates, Larry Carlton, Isaac Hayes and a few others.
Recording a duet with John Legend is on my bucket list.
Here’s some quick trivia.
- I was the duet partner for Julio Iglesias, traveling the globe for over 15 years singing in 5 languages.
- I was the opening act for Michael Bolton when he was playing Arena’s.
- I was in the touring group of Mama I Want To Sing (Vy Higgins)
-I’m the girl singing the lead on Kirk Whalum’s version of All I Do.
-I’m a member of a Grammy winning Texas Swing Band called The Time Jumpers
-I’ve toured with Julio Iglesias, Faith Hill & Tim Mcgraw , Wynonna, Reba, Martina Mcbride, John Oates, Joe Bonamassa, Vince Gill and a few others and Loved EVERY MOMENT OF IT !
Touring with Vince Gill opened up many other doors in country music .
He thought that I should be heard and produced my latest project.
-He just finished producing a traditional country record on me released FEB 2020.
In that project I pay tribute to country songs in my own way.
It’s entitled “I’VE GOT YOU COVERED.
I think it’s a beautiful piece of Art.
-Without a manager, agent or label, I’ve performed at the Opry, in Nashville, 6 times last year and twice this year.
Now, that’s a miracle in my business.
I love to sing a little bit of it all and my journey has been filled with Love, Learning and Growing along the way.
