Founder & Chief Evangelist

iLab (ilab.net / @hubilab) is an innovation consultancy that transforms ideas into positive impact.

After a Corporate career of 23 years, I started iLab as a way to solve the social barriers towards innovation. I have previously worked for companies such as Coca-Cola Femsa, The Coca-Cola Company, Kraft Foods, Pepsico Foods, and Pepsico Beverages in different strategic planning and human resources with responsibilities over Mexico and Latin America.

Due to its social impact, iLab is part of the MIT Science & Technology Initiative, The International Development Innovation Network, The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab, Startups Nation, Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs, The Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship, among other institutes, laboratories, and associations.

I am an Ashoka fellow as a result of iLab’s impact on social mobility.

My master’s degree is on international business administration from the University of Liverpool, also graduated from the Advancement program of Management, Innovation, and Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Singularity University’s Executive Program.
