As an SLP, Dr. Turner is passionate about providing intervention in the areas of Augmentative and Alternative Communication and social communication, representation in materials and media, and non-fiction writing, co-authoring a book on autism.

Communication by Design Specialists, LLC provides evidence-based interventions for individuals with severe communication disorders, autism, or other pervasive developmental disorders. CoDeS is dedicated to maximizing the potential for all clients to communicate, learn, and socialize, while offering training, information, resources and compassionate support to families, educators, and members of the community.
