๐ Iโm a lifelong learner
๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ Interests: All things occupational therapy, entrepreneurship, personal development, psychology/trauma/mental health, โ๏ธ travel tips for travel enthusiasts (15+ countries), financial freedom, equity/justice for all and passionate/radical change through story-telling. I want to share the knowledge and insight I have gained throughout my personal mental health journey as an intergenerational cycle breaker who experienced burnout.
I am a licensed occupational therapist with a passion for mental health across the lifespan. I am the eldest daughter of a chronically-ill, single-parented, immigrant household and the first person in my family to pursue higher education. Iโm also a former anxiety-ridden, people pleaser who was diagnosed with ADHD at age 28. Self-identified autistic at 33.
Despite facing many adversities in life, I still recognize my privilege as a light-skinned Latina occupying space in predominantly white institutions.
โจ INFP in Healthcare overcoming symptoms of C/PTSD and burnout. As a โmediatorโ between my different worlds, I am able to offer clinical and neurodivergent perspective as a third culture kid with lived experience.
โจ I am here to continue exploring upon the things I do not know or do not know well. The only thing in life that is constant is change ฮ and change leads us to new experiences and opportunities to learn more about ourselves.
